This is it, F3VER's first E30, not too easy on the eyes, and might not out run a 325i but she has got potential, and lots of it. This is Hayley, also know as Little Wolf, because she's small but she's a wolf.

She's turning one on the first of March 2016, and like many babies, nursing and grooming her wasn't easy, she's a handful and has given the team lots of ups and downs but every nail that stuck out got the hammer.

Hayley is a 318i Motorized 1991 E30 316i, and when we first met, I (Gabby Ya Vele) thought this car had potential so I started her as a 'Little' project, rebuilt the complete engine from the block up, using as many new internals as I could and also went to the point of reconditioning the cylinder head and when done she was great, but two things where missing, a nice exhaust system and the ride was too high, so I acquired a set of 40mm N-Force drop springs and pulled out M40 branches from the garage and had the exhaust system custom built.




From there it's been bliss, but I won't lie, there's been a couple dozen times I've wanted to leave her on the side of the road dude to random spontaneous issues like catching fire, overheating, and camshaft gear breaking resulting in bent valves, but I've never backed down.



I love my car, and in a few months I'll show her how much I love her buy rebuilding her from shell, and this time, the team and I won't be wasting energy on a 4 cylinder 8 valve car, and the aim is to let her be an inspiration to every young South African to know that your dream car can be built no matter how young you are or what background you're from, and don't get me wrong, I'm no longer that young, but I did build the M40 version of Hayley with lunch money, I don't see an excuse why no one should.
